ASCII to Unicode is designed as a private, browser-based text converter. The core conversion runs locally in your browser and does not require an account.

Local Conversion

The core converter processes pasted text in your browser and does not need to upload your input, output, or imported TXT file to perform conversion. Public converter pages also load third-party advertising scripts, so do not enter passwords, private keys, regulated data, or other secrets.

Local Storage

The language switch saves your selected language in localStorage so every page can remember your preference. You can clear it from your browser settings.

Analytics Events

We use Google Analytics 4 to measure page views, engagement time, scrolls, outbound clicks, and actions such as convert, mode change, example try, copy, download, import, and language switch. The converter does not send your input, output, or imported TXT content to Google Analytics.

Third-Party Advertising

We use Adsterra advertising units, including pop-under, native, social bar, smart-link, and 160×600 banner formats. Adsterra and its advertising partners may use cookies, device identifiers, IP addresses, and browsing data to select, deliver, measure, and secure ads. Opening an ad or sponsored link takes you to a third-party site governed by its own policies.

Sensitive Text

Do not paste passwords, private keys, regulated data, or other secrets into any online tool unless you are comfortable processing them in your browser session.
